This week we’ve been running an Alpine Mountaineering Course for 241 Squadron Air Cadets based in North London. We’ve been very impressed with the lads all week as they are a fit, keen and experienced bunch – so were able to climb independantly, under supervision from the guides for much of the time. During the week we climbed the Traverse du Crochues, Aig du Tour, Petit Aig Verte, Eperon Sublime and Asia – mixing the skills and teaching sessions into each day out on the hill.

Moving together on the Petit Aiguille Verte
Next week we move to 2:1 ratios, in order to extend the cadets skills and experience, moving onto bigger routes and more technical alpine terrain.
